House in Casal da Portela

The property lies in an area of rural land, at the edge of the urban perimeter. The proposal develops a single-family house on land of agricultural and woodland value, which is to be reconverted and to benefit from the use of its agricultural resources. The proposal takes as its premise the maintenance of the relation between the architecture and the outdoor spaces, through the formulation of differentiated agricultural paths and uses, and the reinstatement of native species, as constituent parts of an overall landscape whose identity is to be enhanced.
