Villa Salles

The Villa Salles subdivision arranges seven terraced houses between two streets set at different levels. It is from this twofold topographic condition that the design of the ensemble arises, with a public children’s playground between the houses.

Each plot corresponds to one house, governed by common rules of height, language and materials, so that the elevation reads as a single urban frontage. The unity results from a gradual variation of volumes, with partial facade setbacks, balconies and terraces that absorb the level difference between the two streets.
