House in Vendas de Azeitão

The property sits in Vendas de Azeitão, in an area of detached houses in transition between urban and rural land. At the front of the plot stands an olive tree that gives the project its theme and its form: to preserve it, the house steps back from the adjoining plots to the north-west, leaving the tree as the protagonist of the front garden.
